I am the ghost of groovymother.com. Woooooo!

This is an old page from Rod Begbie's blog.

It only exists in an attempt to prevent linkrot. No new content will be added to this site, and links and images are liable to be broken. Check out begbie.com to find where I'm posting stuff these days.

Massholes

For the longest time possible, I put off driving in Boston. It was a fairly terrifying proposition, but when the necessity kicked in for my new job, I forced myself to get my shit together and motor.

Recently, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying The Boston Driver’s Handbook, a far more useful document than the Mass RMV driving guidebook for learning all you need to know to navigate the area.

The following diagram explaining the Boston Left Turn; a maneuver which has become such second-nature to me now that I can’t imagine turning left any other way.

(The Boston Right Turn? Involves a shortcut through the forecourt of a gas station)

Massholes are some of the most unique drivers I have ever experience. Now years after having last lived in MA I still reminisce fondly on close encounters of the accident kind experienced in MA.
