Beautiful Code: Leading Programmers Explain How They Think

Just picked this up, and a quick skim shows it’s something a bit special: Learn good coding practices by reading experts choice of “the most beautiful code they’ve seen”, with plenty of commentary. I’m halfway tempted to take a day off next week and just sit and read this all day.

Very cool! I've been looking for something just like this. Always seems like a shame that as part of a CS education you don't read more well-crafted code, more like how writers of prose/poetry do. Because we are, after all, code-poets, right? ;-)
