Up early this morning after falling asleep early last night, and managed to catch this sunrise over our neighbourhood.

“30 graphic designers create 30 posters and give you their 30 reasons to vote for Barack Obama on November 4th.”
the unbridgeable velvet gap between generation x and generation 5 year old

Possibly my favourite thing Kathy Sierra has created.
The Hallway conference room at Current
Making myself feel better by posting some Kathy Sierra graphics around work. I left a couple in the hallway conference room yesterday evening, since there's a "senior staff meeting" there first thing today. Wonder if they'll be removed prior…

USATaxDollars - See Your Tax Dollars at Work
Enter your salary, and see how it breaks down gov’t spending-wise. I’d seen the percentages before, but breaking it down to real dollars is very interesting.

Stealing a $48k professional video camera and trying to sell it on eBay? Not smart.
The Muppet Newsflash: Whatnot Workshop Opens this Month

Note to my family: Yes, this is what I want for my Christmas.

Twitter / groovylinks
I get annoyed with people who announce their every blog post in their Twitter feeds (if I’m interested, I’ll just subscribe to your blog). But curious to see if there’s a market for it, I’ve created a Twitter user which will announce new links on this site. Follow “him” to get notified.
YouTube - Take On Me: Literal Video Version
“Ever wish songs just sang what was happening in the music video? Well now they do.”
McLobbyist
Another focused attack site funded by the Obama campaign. I wonder how the return-on-investment compares between these and running 30 second commercials.
John McCain's Record
Another “attack” site from the Obama campaign. Wish there was a bit more hyperlinkage for sources.
Keating Economics: John McCain and the Making of a Financial Crisis
The Obama campaign aren’t resting on their current lead in the polls. This shows promise that they intend to keep fighting all the way to election day.
