I’m in a bit of a rush (leaving on my holidays shortly), so I don’t have time to do a write-up of my Powerful, Pointed Presentations talk as I’d hoped.
I’ll have some free time soon to actually write this stuff up, but in the meantime, I point you towards previous blog-posts I’ve written tagged with 'powerpoint’ and 'presentation’. They’ll give you some pointers to things I mentioned (or didn’t) last night.
Hopefully, O’Reilly will upload the video they were shooting of the talks somewhere, and I can point you to me talking fast. In the meantime, here are the slides I used, which are intentionally meaningless without me.
