“Messy Quotes”
I unashamedly use Outlook Express as my mail client (nice GUI, low memory overhead). I found OE-QuoteFix a couple of days ago, and it’s pretty danged swish. It cleans up OE’s quoting engine so you don’t end up with a mish-mash of ugly ”> > >“s every time you reply to someone!
Oh, and it colours the quotes nicely for you when you’re viewing a message too:
