Dustin Pedroia
Let's take a moment to celebrate Dustin "Petey" Pedroia, who won the 2008 AL MVP award today. For two years in the major leagues, this list of achievements from his Wikipedia page is damned impressive.

CD Purchase: Belle & Sebastian - The BBC Sessions
Sad that this doesn't include the BBC sessions version of "Modern Rock Song". I always preferred the live version (with its "I'm only lucid when I'm riding buses" line) to the one they eventually released.
A big hearty congratulations to Dustin Pedroia. From Rookie of the Year to MVP in one year! Makes me proud to be a Red Sox fan.
