I’m taking a look at Jaiku — a Twitter-a-like status-sharer, but with deep integration into Series 60 cellphones. It can tell people when I’m on my cellphone, warn them that I’ve put it on silent mode, or tell them my location based upon the cell tower I’m connected to.

Fossil Bluetooth Caller ID watch
Cunning idea — a watch that connects to your watch via Bluetooth, then vibrates and shows caller ID information when you get a call or a text, so you don’t have to go raking through your pockets/bag for your phone. Of course, it’ll be a total battery drain, but a lovely innovation nonetheless.

Now, I don’t claim to be a great expert on cellular technologies, but…
...I think I can safely say that my RAZR has RAZed its last. Dec 2004 - Feb 2006... I think that's the longest a cellphone has ever lasted me.
I'm now eyeing up a Nokia 6682, and trying to work out the best way to purchase it without becoming Cingular's bitch for the next two years.
