Designing Obama Douchebaggery | How to Ruin a Good Thing and Your Good Name
I’m somewhat dismayed by this too. Supporters of a Kickstarter project are being forced, without warning, to pay $12 extra for shipping to receive their promised $50+ book *after* their cash has been taken. Such a dick move seems completely antithetical to the Kickstarter ethos.

Great Kickstarter project — A small indie label has too many copies of their CDs, so rather than destroy them, they’re giving them away cheap in return for ridiculously small sums. $20 gets you 8 CDs and a DVD. Bargain!

Kickstarter: goopymart
The artist “goopymart” is funding production of plushies based on his designs, and is looking for patrons. I’ve chipped in for both — I really want me a cuddly geek to call my own!
