I got to play with the Optimus keyboard at CES yesterday, and it is incredibly cool looking, but didn’t feel like a terribly usable keyboard. But pretty? Boy howdy!

I’ve been fancying getting a “gust buster” umbrella for a while. Getting one with a “Hey! You should bring me along today!” alerting handle sounds even better.

Cool-looking external disk storage array. Smarter than RAID — you can mix disk sizes, and add/upgrade drives on the fly — so it could be just the thang for backups around these parts.

Nice. I’ve been tempted by the DS for a while, so I think I’ll pick one of these up when they’re released over here.

Wow, this is genius. A big fleecy blanket with sleeves, so you can control the TV or type on your laptop without exposing your shoulders. Want!

Weebl’s made plushy toys out of Magical Trevor, BadgerBadgerBadger and Weebl & Bob. Anyone who’s not sure what to get me for my Christmas… HINT!

Teensy palmtop Windows XP PCs. Got to poke at one a little today, and it is sweeeet.

Oooh, I fancy one of these, if only for the obsessive-compulsive collector part of me.

The new Squeezebox is gorgeous. Throw in excellent format support (MP3, OGG, WMA, AAC and FLAC) and an open-source server, and it’s a geek’s dream.

Oooh. Looks like the QI cash-in Christmas DVD might be something rather special indeed.

Holy crapoly. Nintendo’s next-gen controller is a spectacular leap away from the standard.

The replacement for the iPod mini is just delectable. Tiny, shiny, and available in a sleek black.

I love Microsoft’s ergonomic keyboards, and am delighted to see that the next model will have the proper Home/End/Delete block layout.
