Casey Kotchman’s RBI Double
I didn't bring a telephoto lens on this trip, so this is about the best photo I have of the game!
What makes Fenway, Fenway.
A silly little detail, but one I loved. They've installed these lovely high-resolution multi-colour animation-capable LCD displays, but show the scores, stats and messages in a dot-matrix font that resembles the screens they replaced.
Atop the Green Monster
Watching the Yanks take batting practice.

Our friend Cheryl is awesome
A mystery UPS sticky on the door turned out to be for this fantastic Fenway Park print, a surprise gift from our friend Cheryl (shortly to be appearing in Boston in The Superheroine Monologues). This will be hung in our apartment with pride.

Jubilation
Seconds after Manny's decisive walk-off home-run.
(I like how arty this shot appears, when really it was just taken before my camera had completely woken up and adjusted to what was going on!)

Helpful Reminder
You have twenty minutes to run, if you want to catch the T home. Stupid 8:30pm starts!
View from Grandstand 7 Row 12
Not as good as our normal seats (pillars preventing us from seeing home plate or the Pesky Pole very well), but still a fun place to spend an evening.

At last! The secret formula! It is mine!
Spotted on a door at Fenway: The secret instructions for making a footlong hotdog. WIth this recipe, I shall RULE THE WORLD!
Spot the life-long Sox fan
Joy and my parents at Fenway Park.
You'll note that my dad (who's never been to a baseball game before) and my mum (who's been once) are both wearing Red Sox jackets. I'd mentioned to them the night before that it can get kind of chilly in the evening, so they should maybe bring a jacket. So when they happened upon Red Sox jackets at Marshall's earlier in the day, they snapped them up.
Classy!

Public safety hang-ups - The Boston Globe
The Scottsdale, AZ police department is running recruiting ads in the mens room at Fenway Park. I saw one last week, but really didn’t think it was an appropriate time to whip out my cellphone and take a photo.
