PuzzleManiak
Great puzzle collection for the (jailbrokened) iPhone. Some are a bit fiddly to play with your finger as stylus, but overall they’re a lot of fun.

Crossover Games
Wine for OS X and Linux especially designed to play graphically-intensive Windows games. The Orange Box and its contents are supported, and Audio-Surf ran OK for me, with some minor resolution-based oddness. Not sure it’s worth $40, though, when I can just reboot to Boot Camp.

Experimental Gameplay Project t-shirts at Target
Target is stocking t-shirts which come with CD-ROMs of games from the Experimental Gameplay Project. Off-the-wall short-form games *and* silk-screened T-shaped clothing? It’s like they’re IN MY MIND!

Audiosurf: Ride Your Music
An outstandingly fun Windows game: Drive a car over coloured blocks on a track generated by an MP3 of your choosing. Pick something mellow, and you get a relaxing low-scoring game. But if you want a challenge, throw some pumping techno its way. Works very well with Chemical Brothers and Pixies, I find. Best use of Digital Signal Processing ever!

iminlikewithyou: Blockles
I’m In Like With You branches out into wickedly-addictive multiplayer Tetris. They even let you play without joining the site.

Passage
Beautiful game/piece of art. Play it for five minutes (important note: you can move up and down, as well as left and right), then read the creator’s statement. Lovely.

Peggle
The awesome Peggle is now available for Mac, for anyone who hasn’t yet been caught in its crack-like addiction. And only $10 to register until the end of the year. Well worth it.

Nelson’s Weblog: Space Giraffe
Sounds fucking AMAZING! Do I dare buy a $300 console, just to play a $5 game?

Tap Tap Revolution: the fast-tapping iPhone music game
Best game so-far for the iPhone. And once again I say: If this is the awesomeness unleashed by reverse-engineering, imagine what might be possible if Apple ever get around to releasing a proper development environment for the iPhone.

The Lemmings Story
Creation of one of the best video games of all time. They’re absolutely right about the perfection of the learning curve in the first game.

Taito announces Arkanoid DS, special paddle included - DS Fanboy
Arkanoid for the DS will be packaged with a paddle controller so you can play the game as it was always intended. This makes me colossally happy.

JPC - Computer Virtualization in Java
Java applet that emulates an x86 PC. Kind of interesting, but what’s really cool? They’re demoing it with lots of classic PC games — Prince of Persia, Commander Keen, Lemmings… If they had “Jones in the Fast Lane”, it’d be perfect!

CHICK CHICK BOOM
Fun Flashgame from Nintendo. Are they prototyping ideas for console games using Flash? This could easily be a great two-player DS game.

Desktop Tower Defense
Excellent Flash strategy-ish game which cost me about 20 minutes of productivity. So far.
